Our Story

Camila Sáenz is the founder of TUTEEMI. TUTEEMI is a platform dedicated to connecting foreign language tutors with Taiwanese students. After high school, Camila left Guatemala and moved to  Asia. She holds an MBA and is currently a PhD candidate at Taipei University of Technology. She has also shared her experience in two TEDx talks and participated in well-known accelerator programs such as 500 Global and AppWorks.

Camila's journey began with her keen interest in Chinese culture during a six-month stay in China. The experience inspired her to pursue a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications at Ming Chuan University in Taiwan. As a popular English and Spanish tutor, she realized the need for a platform like TUTEEMI that could not only provide high-quality language education but also provide tutors with a stable income.

TUTEEMI is recognized by several well-known accelerator organizations and is committed to promoting global citizenship by making language learning more accessible. TUTEEMI currently serves many students in Taiwan and continues to expand its reach to other countries. TUTEEMI is more than a company, it is a community dedicated to serving learners and educators.
